Although the FAA does not require an instrument certificate for a commercial pilot, the reality is that a commercial pilot is much more marketable with an instrument rating on his or her certificate. More and more companies are making this a requirement (helps to lower their insurance rates). Our instrument program builds on the private and commercial courses and focuses on instruments, instrument scans, navigation aids, flight planning, departure, en-route, arrival and approaches.
